Security & Fire Excellence Awards
The Security & Fire Excellence awards were held on Wednesday 23rd November 2022 at London Hilton Park Lane.
We are proud to announce that we were named Security Installer/Integrator of the year.
This category was awarded to the Installer/Integrator that has shown the highest standard of workmanship and customer support throughout the year.
Our submission focussed on several of our major multi-disciplined installation and maintenance projects including Royal London and St Bartholomew’s, Govia Thameslink Railway and London Southbank University, but centering namely on Outernet London (St Giles) for which a detailed case study and fantastic customer testimonial was provided.

Optyma Security Systems Ltd commits to 'earn and learn' by joining the The 5% Club
This year Optyma Security Systems Ltd has showcased its commitment to developing its people by joining The 5% Club, an industry led initiative focused on driving momentum into the recruitment of apprentices, graduates and sponsored students.
The 5% Club is a movement of more than 800 employers providing ‘earn and learn’ opportunities to develop the skills and talents people need to become more employable and create meaningful careers. Companies joining The 5% Club commit to raising the number of apprentices, sponsored students and graduates on formal programmes to 5% of their total workforce within five years. Members are also asked to publicly report their progress in their Annual Report. Existing members range from SMEs to FTSEs and cover all sectors including engineering, transport, and financial services.

At this years Sdiptech Awards ceremony we won two awards - Great Performer and Green Performer.
To win the award you have to meet the following criteria:
Great Performance:
Fulfil at least two of the following criteria:
• • >15% EBITA-margin (ROS)
• • >15% EBITA improvement vs last year (REX)
• • >50% Return on capital employed (excluding intercompany items) (ROCE)
All criteria measured on a full financial year basis (12 months). The capital employed is measured as the mean of the ingoing and outgoing balances of the financial year.

Minimum 7% reduction of CO2e/Turnover (-13% vs 2021)
Minimum 33% women in leading positions
Minimum 40% renewable energy
